This website (livingbytheriver.net) does not collect personal data beyond what is voluntarily provided through direct email contact. If you choose to contact me at simoneb.riva@gmail.com, your email address and message will be used solely to respond to your inquiry. No data is shared with third parties, and no user accounts, comments, or registrations are enabled on this site.
If you purchase a print directly via email contact, I will collect only the information strictly necessary to process and deliver your order (such as name, email address, shipping address, and payment details). These data are used exclusively for completing the transaction and are not shared with third parties. They are stored securely and only for the time required by accounting and legal obligations.
If a newsletter or mailing list is activated in the future, personal data (such as name and email address) will be collected solely for the purpose of sharing updates, new works, and early access to projects or editions. Subscription will always be voluntary, with clear information provided at the time of sign-up. Users will be able to unsubscribe at any time, and their data will not be shared with third parties or used for automated profiling or advertising.
The website owner works between Italy and Japan.
Given the international nature of my practice and my EU VAT registration, processing of personal data follows the standards of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Where applicable, local data protection regulations, including the Japanese Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI), are also respected.
